WHY DID WE DO EE?

In the Jewish, Asian, Hispanic, ethnic European (Greek, Polish, Italian), Middle Eastern enclaves, and predominantly White suburbs  the dollar is recycled over and over...
sustaining the neighborhood, funding the schools, empowering the community...
for 7 - 29 days.

The Black consumer dollar stays in the Black community
for only
six hours!

Thus, EE is not about exclusion.  It is about accountability, fairness, respect and pride.  It is strategy.  It is common sense.  It only makes sense that a community with as much buying power as ours should work together to use our talents and resources toward solving our community's problems.

SUPPORT THE EE FOUNDATION

The EE Foundation (EEF) keeps this movement alive with ongoing research, education, events and programs to continue promoting and facilitating self-help economics in struggling  minority communities. While the initial research focuses on the lack of entrepreneurship success and support for Black businesses and how that leads to poor economic health and unemployment in Black neighborhoods, the goal of EEF's work is to prove that self-help economics can lead to more equal opportunity and success for all minority entrepreneurs and communities.  EEF needs funds to pay for website development, space, technology, research, staff, supplies, and travel, etc.
