The media always talks about problems in our community. Now, the press reports on the economic reasons for and solutions to those problems. EE compels a new discussion on how we can help each other - by using buying power to empower our businesses and rescue our neighborhoods - not just how we hurt each other.
This is only the beginning!
EE's goal was to place the issues facing Black businesses and the resultant lack of economic power and role models in Black neighborhoods into the national dialogue. Major media are covering the Andersons and the new consumer-driven economic empowerment movement. See below for the videos of national television interviews, and links to newspaper and magazine articles and radio interviews. (Coverage listed from newest to oldest.)
